I met Edwin, Liz and Ellis at the park a few weekends ago for our now annual photo romp. We walked around the park, up through downtown and ended up at Barley's Taproom for a little pizza. True to form, our time together was a great time and I hope the pictures below capture some of what makes this family so fun to be around. Enjoy!

The Webb's
My lifelong friend and fellow picture-taker :-) Summer Webb proposed that we exchange services and take some family pictures for each other. It was the best idea I have heard in a long time...as the person who always takes the pictures is never in the pictures. Thanks Sum!
The Fekete Family
I was able to take some pictures with the Fekete family a few weeks ago. I very much enjoyed getting everyone together and seeing how it all turned out.

Brothers
A few months ago, we tried to take some family shots and let me tell you...it was an adventure. In the midst of all the craziness, these two pictures stood out to me as I thought about what it means to have a brother. In the first picture, Owen is singing to Sam. In the second picture, he is supporting him as Sam cannot quite hold himself up for too long without tipping over.
Whenever I see these pictures, I am reminded when Owen says, "Don't worry brother, I'll take care of you." That is what it is all about. My boys!

Christmas Card Pictures: Ellis (2012)
I think I realized in June of last year just how much time having a little boy requires. I would not trade it for the world (and have been getting my exercise lately by making laps around the house trying to catch the little guy) but I have neglected this blog for way too long.
I promise to do better! Below are some pictures that I took of Ellis and his Mom and Dad for Christmas this past year. I think leading up to Christmas I was put on the holiday card circuit, but I loved every minute of it.

Belated Easter Pictures
We always plan to take family pictures on Easter Sunday, but what happens when the weather does not cooperate and/or that little one just can't wait to get out of that suit or Easter dress. Well, this year Rennay and Spencer had the right idea, and we took some Easter Sunday (or Spring) shots a few weeks after Easter. The weather was nice, the flowers were in bloom and everyone smiled right on cue!

"You Been Farming Long?"- Wesley
My cousin's son Wesley came out to help us on the farm this past weekend, and he wanted me to take some pictures of him wearing his overalls. After every picture, he wanted to check it out to make sure it was good enough and at one point after taking a picture of him smiling he said, "Take a picture of my body," and he turned around and faced the barn! I guess he has been watching too much of "America's Next Top Model." Here are just a few of my favorites. Enjoy.

Bryant and Emily
I was asked by Bryant and Emily to shoot their upcoming wedding. During the course of finalizing the details, we decided very quickly to do a casual engagement session while the weather was cooperating. Below are some of my favorites shots of the afternoon and the one that transformed itself into the couple's save-the-date announcement.

An Afternoon in Austin
In mid December, I was invited to Austin, TX to take Emily's senior pictures. We spent much of the afternoon/evening visiting a few of her favorite locations in order to get the look she had in mind. We ended up with a lot of good shots, but below are a few of my personal favorites. Enjoy!
